Telestaden
Tenant adaptation
Location: Telestaden, Farsta
Scope: 414 square meters
Duration: 9-12 months
Technical design: Tenant adaptation of office space
Fidell is engaged as project manager for a comprehensive tenant adaptation within the Telestaden project in Farsta, an area known for its historical connection to Televerket. The project involves a smart combination of new construction and adaptations of existing buildings with high cultural and historical value. These buildings, erected in 1969 and awarded the prestigious Kasper Salin Prize, are now blue-classified, meaning they are of special interest from a cultural heritage perspective.
As project manager, Fidell has the primary responsibility to drive the project from procurement to handover. This includes ensuring that the project adheres to the contractual timeline while integrating the needs and requirements of all involved parties—such as the client, operations, and contractor—into the process.
The uniqueness of this project lies in the dual challenge of modernizing and adapting the buildings to meet today’s needs while preserving their historical and cultural value.
