The project was initiated to develop and improve Sundbyberg City Network, with the goal of updating existing documentation and integrating new information from ongoing projects and in-house installations. The work covers a wide range of technical tasks, including ducting, fiber installations, connections, links, and inspections.

Fidell's role in this long-term collaboration includes design and calculation of additional tasks within the same area. The team continuously updates documentation for new connections, such as new homes, nodes, cabinets, and manholes. Fidell also actively participates in meetings and assists the client as needed to ensure smooth project development.

The technical solutions used in the project include design in AutoCAD and quantity calculations in Excel. Starting in early 2018, a migration to dpCom was implemented, enhancing the management and overview of the entire network from starting node to endpoint. This transition to advanced software has enabled more efficient management and higher-quality documentation.
