Technical Design and Production: Construction of a new production kitchen
The project at Södersjukhuset aimed to establish a new 1100 sqm production kitchen to support Stockholm County Council's (SLL) vision of providing healthy and nutritious meals for the hospital's patients and staff. This extensive initiative involved a team comprising design managers, project managers, and construction managers, as well as specialists in follow-up, documentation, and handover.
A central part of the project was careful management of scheduling and budget tracking. The project also required close attention to regulatory matters, ongoing dialogue with quality assurance representatives, and coordination of contractor work. Through these efforts, the kitchen was ensured not only to meet all regulations and standards but also to deliver on the high expectations for its functionality and service.
