Fidell has been deeply involved in two parallel tenant adaptation projects in Kv Styckjunkaren, Solna, during 2023. These projects include adaptations totaling 470 sqm across two different floors in the same building, utilizing the same contractor for both projects to optimize coordination and efficiency.

Floor 8

On this floor, a turnkey contract of 70 sqm is being executed, scheduled for completion in mid-November 2023. Fidell's role has been as project manager for the client, Atlasmuren. The project faced challenges, such as a lack of fire planning, which was resolved by hiring a fire consultant who recommended installing a fire lobby. This addition required adjustments to the layout, but the end result was successful, with all parties satisfied.

Floor 5

The second adaptation, covering 400 sqm, was initially intended as a showroom, but halfway through production, the client decided to take over the office space for their own use. This project is an execution contract and has involved several changes during the design and production phases. Fidell has handled these challenges as learning opportunities and contributed to the project’s success through its flexibility and ability to adapt.

In this project, Fidell also contributed with BIM coordination and design management, focusing on avoiding installation clashes in a challenging environment with a limited floor-to-ceiling height of only 2.7 meters. Visible and sleek installations were chosen to maximize ceiling height.
