In this project, Fidell plays a central role as the Principal Contractor for Health and Safety (BAS-U), overseeing the installation of a new backup power generator in the basement of a property in Stockholm. The project includes not only the installation of the generator but also the casting of a sound-dampening concrete slab to minimize noise, the attachment of a separate ventilation system, and the installation of cooling units to manage the heat generated by the generator.

The assignment is carried out in an environment requiring high flexibility and consideration for both ongoing operations and nearby residential areas. These conditions place specific and high demands on the role of the Principal Contractor for Health and Safety (BAS-U), where Fidell’s task is to ensure that all work is performed safely and without disrupting daily operations or the residential environment in the area.
